Our Story
Founded in August 2021 as part of Agro Care’s international expansion, Hicha Joy builds on the success of Desert Joy in Tunisia and over 100 hectares of advanced greenhouses in the Netherlands. Strategically located 30 km from the Gabès Governorate in the Ouedhref delegation, Hicha Joy is more than a farm—it is a driver of economic development and local employment, expected to create around 4,000 jobs over the next five years, including many for university graduates.
With a goal of cultivating 120 hectares and exporting 36,000 to 40,000 tonnes per year, Hicha Joy is proud to stand as a reliable partner in sustainable agriculture, shaping the future of Tunisia’s cherry tomato industry.
